Freedom, painting and landscape

Curated by the Valcreuse Museum, in partnership with the Chauvy Gallery, the exhibition Freedom, painting and landscape (Liberté, peinture et paysage) is dedicated to landscape.

It puts into perspective artworks of Jean Bazaine, Chaffik Abboud, Chu Teh Chun, Olivier Debré, Alfred Manessier, Vera Pagava, Raoul Ubac, Zao Wou Ki ... and tachisme or lyrical abstraction in France with north american abstract expressionism, thanks to the artworks of the canadian automatiste Marcel Barbeau.

All together, and beyond continents, the artworks draw a same relationship to space and light in constant mutation.

The on-line catalogue is available here (in French).
