From Impressionism to the Abstract—an immersion in painting
In the framework of the Festival of Impressionist Normandie
In the framework of the Festival of Impressionist Normandy, 2013, the Saint-Lô Museum of Fine Arts presented a selection of fifty paintings and drawings to demonstrate how, following impressionism, come artists came to disengage from traditional esthetics whilst still being freely inspired by the natural world.
The works of Vera Pagava were exhibited along side Henri-George Adam, Jean Bazaine, Eugene Boudin, Sergio De Castro, Oliver Debre, Henri Edmond Cross, Joseph Delattre, Claude Monet, Robert-Antoine Pinchon, Jacques Mahé de la Villeglé, Ange Leccia, Véronique Joumard and Marcel Dinahet.
