Une passion de l'art, Jean- François Jaeger et la galerie Jeanne-Bucher
Since 1969, Jean-François Jaeger and the Jeanne-Bucher Gallery maintain close relations with the city of Villeneuve-sur-Lot and contribute, through many partnerships, to the exploration of contemporary and modern art movements at the Gajac Museum.
To pay tribute to this shared passion for Art, the Gajac Museum invited Jean-François Jaeger to select artworks that illustrate his career as an art dealer from 1947 to 2013 : Nicolas de Staël, Jean-Dubuffet, Maria Elena da Silva, Vera Pagava, Louise Nevelson, Paul Rebeyrolle, Fabienne Verdier, etc...
A specific space is dedicated to Bissière and Hans Reichel, as a reminder of the first Biennales of Villeneuve in 1969 and 1971. The spectacular edition work 'Galerie Jeanne-Bucher' is also displayed.
